Recently, I've been hit really hard with a wave of doubt. What if God isn't real? What if when we die, that's it? I really, really, really don't want that to be true. I've prayed, I've listened to testimony, and through all that, I believe, yet…

I wonder if I just believe to believe, but not because it is the truth.

It's so strange.When I was a child, I was deathly afraid to die, but i have been good for like 20 years and then something hit me. I think it may be becquase I have undiagnosed SAD and this year, the weather went from 90 degrees to freezing cold over night

I feel like that's something I'm already passed. Doubt to me more comes from doubting myself or the future.

The easiest way for me to know God is real is for me to see the true evils in the world. The powers behind everything happening. Ephesians 6:12 You can see it on TV now, it's so obvious and clear. There is a Satan, therefor God exists. Christ is the only way of salvation from death and from evil.

This, and being old enough to remember the kind of Christian society where you could leave your door unlocked at night.

I’ve had that same problem, and what I do is that I keep a list of things that I’ve experienced that point to God. For example, if He speaks to you in a service, write it down somewhere. This will keep your faith strong.
