Fair enough, but I mostly see this behavior from a few key big ticket fighters like Conor McGregor and (a few years ago) Brock Lesnar. 9 times out of 10 when I'm watching fights between more rank and file fighters, I still see such things as the touching of the gloves before a round begins, fighters embracing in brotherhood after a particularly grueling match. That respect and honor is still very much there with the average joe fighters. Also, professional boxing hasn't exactly been innocent of trash talking and hype amongst it's biggest players and events either (i.e. Muhammad Ali, Rumble in the Jungle, Floyd Mayweather, etc.)
