Theoretically, Would it be a sin to kill zombies?

if by zombies we mean human corpses animated by unclean spirits then to exorcise them wouldn't be WAIT WHY AM I UNIRONICALLY REPLYING TO THIS RETARDED ASS THREAD

If they are the standard Dawn of the Dead type zombies, I would say no. The actual person is dead. The shambling creature is something else. Mentally on the level of an animal, but controlling the human body after the soul is gone elsewhere. Also it is an issue of self defense, it would not be safe to live alongside these creatures. They are homicidal cannibals and anyone they attach they could infect. So you can kill them purely out of self-defense. There is no cure.

because I've often wondered this myself and I have to admit, it is an intriguing question: are zombies corpses walking or badly infected humans made in the image of God?

Could do, would certainly be a sad business to put down people who through no fault of their own have been plunged into violent psychosis.

What’s wrong with them? They are not breaking the rules far as I know.

Wouldn’t putting down someone who has human rabies be considered as act of mercy?
