During their "General Conference" the President of the Mormon church states that the nicknames "Mormon" and "Latter-day Saint" should no longer be accepted. "It's an error that has gone on too long." He goes on further to say that the true name of the church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" and was instituted by the Lord himself.

Quite the audacity for a non-Christian cult.
