When you get homosexuals and commies sneaking their way into your church in the last 600 years you get problems that only an inquisition could root out. These homosexuals then lay low and form cliques where they elect other homosexuals into authority positions and make it really annoying to deal with. Naturally these vermin also sort out good priest candidates for being "too traditionalist" at their seminaries. It will take time.

Unfortunately for us, most of the Catholics we encounter are Mexicans who go to mass like once a year when they're feeling guilty for living in sin with their not-spouse.

We do get some good Catholics, however. One of my Bible study's leaders is a good example. Miss that guy.
