It doesn't. If your parents profess themselves to be Christians, and yet they treat you like this, then they are hypocrites.

Focus on the life to come, anon. Everything is in His hands, and everything has it's purpose. Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him, and He will take care of the rest.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Respect your duty of filial charity. If they don't respect their duty God will remember about their sins.

Honoring them doesn’t mean tolerating their sin. Ya goober

34Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law: 36and a man's foes'shall be they of his own household.

37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me. 39He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Institutional Christianity however has at times found ways to overlook these aspects. I personally don't believe the concept of being a slave to your parents is acceptable today or generally but in past times such a mentality would be common and often still is.
