The second chance isn't the point, the point was you wake up knowing the reality of heaven/hell directly and personally, like you never did before.

I think a lot of people continue to be perpetual victims of sin (even after they claim to be saved) because the reality of heaven/hell/God isn't concrete to them, its kind of speculative.
