A bit painful because I got a daemon hounding me even in the church. Intrusive thoughts, sometime mind goes off wandering thinking about something else other than the Divine Liturgy and our Lord. Trying to fix that though, might have to ask the priest to banish the daemon from me or something if it get worse.

I couldn't attend (Orthodox) liturgy today, but next week the catechumen course starts. I'll talk to the priest and say I want to enter the church, and hopefully in a year or so I can join through holy chrismation.

I've liked everything about this parish so far so I thought the 1 pm mass would be fine

Boy was I wrong. Not a single moment of silence, everything was poppy guitar hymns, and whenever someone was speaking they were interrupted by amp noise.

And yet, unlike most other masses and vigils, not a single pew was empty…
