As for counter-protests, those are fine too. There is literally nothing that gives you the right to speak unhindered in public. The First Amendment protects you from the government and nothing else. It doesn't protect you from other private citizens who want you to "stfu and gtfo". I saw the absolute stupidest post just now on faceberg. You are the only one bringing up the First Amendment. I am speaking to the general principle of free speech. A 'counter-protest' is prohibiting free speech if the people involved physically prohibit speakers from entering, yell over them to prevent anyone from hearing what they have to say, assault the speakers or people they think are sympathetic to the message, throw urine on them, spray them with pepper spray, beat them with bike locks, etc. This is what antifa does.
