To cut to the chase: this board tends to be filled with a lot of outsiders/weirdos/loners/eccentrics/nerds/geeks/etc.(myself included.)
What exactly, is the place of the outsider/weirdo within the context of Christianity? Is it to strive, through God's grace and guidance, to remedy this "weirdness" and to become as normal and well-adjusted as possible? To accept this weirdness and take on a specialized role for Christ, like Monk/Fool-for-Christ, etc? Is it good to be weird/different in a manner that glorifies Christ, or does Christ prefer more normalcy amongst his flock?
