Hi /christian/

Would it be a sin to marry a random thot (that is a girl that you don't love or care about her) so you could have kids and keep your family alive?

I've been thinking about priesthood but I don't think I have the vocation for it so I need to get something done in life and marriage and kids are the only remaining option.

Is it a sin? Catholic answer are preferred but prots and orthobros are welcome to share their thoughts.

Yes.

A marriage must be done with consent of both parties, out of love and with procreation in mind.

If you mean to develop love as the marriage progresses then one can discuss, but just for lineage it's a sin and I think it even annuls the marriage.

You should not be unevenly yoked with unbelievers. Righteousness doesn't have fellowship with unrighteousness.

If that love must be our modern conception of romantic love I don't think so, but you would have to consider her as a part of yourself and dedicate yourself to her entirely. If I was going to do that just to procreate I would find a woman I respected who wanted children as well so we're both on the same page.
