When I was still a deluded member over there, one of the most rancorous, petty, pathetic, long and drawn out flame wars was over the "One Drop Rule" (I.e. How white someone had to be in order to be considered white/Whether or not "whites" with so much as 0.00001% non-white genetics should kill or castrate themselves for the good of the white race.) It went on for what felt like forever and across multiple threads, and the board's posting rate/User IDs literally cratered in the aftermath of this debacle (which is pretty ironic, considering the mod had a reputation for either starting drama, or allowing it to flourish in order to increase post rates on a slow board, and thus probably allowed this soap opera to go on as long as it did for those reasons.)
