I've studied alot of the different eschatologies and find that basically different ones make different passages apply to heaven or not.

Some say the passages apply to the 1000 year reign, some say they're general right now, some say they're about a future heaven/new earth after the final judgement.

It's increasingly frustrating seeing all these different notions of what heaven is like from so many different camps.

Is it possible the Bible just barely talks about it?

I would probably say if I was asked that heaven will probably be something like Earth but without sin. Physical bodies, work that we enjoy, no fear of death or sin.

iirc this is akin to C.S. Lewis and curiously enough some protestant thought.

So what's heaven like /christian/?

Take them with a grain (or maybe a whole pile) of salt, but people's reports with near death experiences of both heaven and hell are very interesting. It's even more interesting with the ones where the person is an Atheist before hand and ends up converting afterwards because of the experience. Just my two cents though.
