I am hijacking this thread to turn it into a conversation about angels and the Bible.

<this is your brain on evangelicalism
Although normally you would have a point, we need to discuss the specifics of the scripture here. For example in numbers 22:23
>And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.
So a donkey, an a-s-s if that ass reference above wordfilters then may God speedily judge the mods for breaking revelation 22:18-19, could see an angel. So angels reflect light in some sense as to have the ability to be seen. You can't argue that the donkey had a spiritual body/spirit in 1 corinthians 15:44 as it is a beast/not man, and not spirit.

In all seriousness it probably was a moth. There is nothing in the Bible that says angels have wings or gives a description of angels having wings as that is pagen/celtic tradition. The Bible does describe angels as "the measure of a man, that is, of the angel" in revelation 21:17
>And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
So maybe angels just look like men?
