The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I need some help, brothers.

I've been helping a close friend through a dark place, and she has confided in me a desire to go to Church, and wants my help. Obviously I'm excited to help her, but the problem is she has a hard time believing in things that aren't scientific/rational. I told her there are logical reasons to believe in God, but I don't know where to start, as believing had been natural for me. So where should I start looking?

Also sorry for the blog post.

Are you looking for reading recommendations or just talking points. On books, I can suggest Aquinas by Edward Feser, which has detailed explanation of the arguments in Aquinas's five ways for beginners. He has anothet book called the Last Superstition, but it's more of a polemic against "new Atheism." He also has a blog.

https://edwardfeser.blogspot.com/

And looking at his blog, it looks like he has a new book, Five Proofs for the existence of God, so maybe that would be the one to get.

Those are only evidence for A god, not The God.

Translation:

"I am willing to believe that something came from nothing; we are all animals and monkeys; there exist multiple universes, but when it comes to God that's too unbelievable and only irrational people believe that".

Thanks, I know Aquinas had some reasons but I didn't really know how to boil it down.

Will do

Essentially. That was where I planned to start, as it seems to me to require just as much faith in the Big Bang as in God. But beyond that I'm not sure if I could demonstrate that it's the God of Christianity and that Jesus Christ actually did rise from the dead etc etc.
