Ace Combat 04 (Mobius 1 is Raptor Jesus)
Original Legend of Zelda where the "Magic book" is properly translated to "Holy Bible". The Triforce is a representation of the Holy Trinity. Why do you think the SJWs and cucks are trying to occupy The Legend of Zelda? It is to destroy the game's Christian roots.
4.6 Billion Year Story: The Theory of Evolution on NEC PC-9801. It may be Evolution, but the story is Japan's weird mixture of combining Christianity and Evolution.
Gaia is a servant of the creator (God) and Gaia is like your guiding angel. The main antagonist is Lucifer. Satan as a female. There is also many storyline incidents that are based on Christianity. In the pre-historic era, you meet a Dinosaur who was small and weak who sold his soul to Lucifer for power. He regrets it and decides to help you to redeem himself and to prevent Lucifer from destroying the world, even fighting (and getting killed) by another dinosaur who proudly sold his soul to Lucifer and openly gloats about how he is in her service. Once they die, Lucifer tries to temp you to becoming her servant. It also shows Lucifer being behind the massive asteroid which killed the dinosaurs and destroying a Civilization made by aliens and something involving Atlantis.
The game also punishes you and gives you a game over for "evolving the wrong way". I view it as a representation of growing the wrong way, or more specifically, away from the grace of God and being punished for it.

I think at the time it might have been Christian groups which were offended by that. Nintendo removed some Islamic chant samples in Ocarina of Time in the music of the fire temple after the initial release after it was brought to their attention along with the star and crescent symbols of the Gerudo since it conflicted with their policy.
Throughout the 90's religious groups in America, most probably Christian, were behind many of the campaigns against various types of commercial media.
America for some reason is always having trouble with censorship of media but it could also have to do with different countries cultural reservations like with Europe being more tolerant of sexuality but not violence and gore and Japan's censorship of genitals in domestically produced pornography but relative laxness in everything else and other countries' laxness on censorship of profanity on tv and perhaps in music when dealing with English language media in countries where it isn't the primary language.

That's like asking for christian sports games. It doesn't exist, the purpose of video games is to give entertainment. Books, music, films, and paintings have far more emotional value, that's why they can be religious, while video game constantly seeks for ways to keep the player from getting bored.
That said, there are games that are relatively safe for christians to play. That is, encourages no sinful act beyond being addicted to the gameplay itself. Elder Scrolls is far less offensive than other M rated games. It might encourage you to steal and kill, but it's just stealing and killing video game NPC's, no big deal because it works nothing like real life. Other games have too much lewd display, encouragement of adultery, and other sinful acts. Now those are harmful.

I disagree. A game can satisfy all the same emotional/creative/whatever needs any other art medium can too.
We as Christians are obligated to society, we go to mass, preach, argue, etc. Game developing is (was) a very time consuming task, where you have to dedicate your every living second to it, it simply isn't compatible with Christian duties. Nothing. It and all of the SAGA series are basically mythological (think Lord of the Rings-esque). But they're certainly not anti-Christian, and are generally pro-monarchy if you're the sort to appreciate that. It's a low bar sure, but they're also pretty good games (romancing SAGA 2 and SAGA Frontier are both brilliant), and better than most modern western AAA treatment of Christianity. Actually, we figured it out in the Far Cry 5 thread a while back. Basically Joseph Seed is the anti-christ. Look at the evidence:
1. Never once mentions Jesus
2. Insists on being called "The Father"
3. Marks his "followers" with his drug "bliss"
4. Makes them millitant to follow his every command.
The whole point of the game is to make you think about your morals and the end times. Joseph Seed does techinally "win" in both endings of the game, because at thr end of life, God is always right.
And as the logic follows, because God is always right and Seed is the Anti-christ, Jesus Himself will decend from heaven on his horse to defeat the anti-christ as fortold in the prophecy.

Now that's a big irony right there. Also maybe that WT wanted to name themselves as Tree of Life/Life Tree but there could've been another company that already took Tree of Life/Life Tree.

True, never thought of it like that. Seems like the entire trilogy had a focus on purging the worlds of their corruption (I believe some are even stated to be "groaning"), often freeing the inhabitants of its influence.
Also that game in particular has some nice aesthetic contrasts between light and shadow. I'd even argue they use certain anatomical cues for this such as the Luminoth's moth-like appearance suggesting affinity to light, or the resemblance of the Ing to soft spindly deep sea life. Even the original concept of the light suit resembles a deep sea crustacean's shell, a creature of the surface brought to the abyss.
Sorry if I gushed a bit.

I was going to say this. I loved when I delivered those waldesians to the inquisitor.
But yeah. I detect a strong anti Catholic bias especially with the new update where you can restore your reputation by buying indulgences to "forgive sins". Either the developers dont know that indulgences don't forgive any sin at all or its an attack on the church.
Either way you can't play it as a good Catholic and go to heaven if you die in battle.

Well the game would have to be centered around Christ and the memes of this board such as pastor anderson, vitamen K, the mods, begome orthodox, the hafizposter, and christchan.
The story would depend on the genre. Probably easiest to make an RPG around all those elements. As you could just pick a title character and have different plotlines on each of those things finding Christ or something like that. WIth each character having to go through a storyline overcoming each other character that changes based on the original selected character. For example, if you played as the mods their interactions and RPG elements with each different character would be different such as befreinding the christchan character and being enememies of the begome orthodox character.
I put too much thought into that. remember exodus 20.

The freedom of being able to customize your stats (both attributes and skills) is what allows for customized builds based on your playstyle. In D3 you're at the mercy of what play style Devs wants you to play.
For example In D3 you HAVE to play a pets witch doctor with spells, you don't get to play a passive pets/summons or you lose out on 15000% weapon damage (or whatever it is now for the 6p set bonus from Zuni). It's a badly designed game, it's like those later naked gun movies that weren't funny but were made to look like they would be.
The only other playstyle i actually liked and was nerfed into bad design, was Meteors, even with all the items for the skill, it's still weak and you HAVE to use Firebird with it (meaning you HAVE to use another 2 sources of fire, so you can't JUST use meteors)
This balance where player is at the mercy of "Dev approved" builds kills any customization/flexibility that the rune system or per-established states would have benefited. The game basically resets at a certain point, and the end game suffers the most because of this.
TL;DR It's a badly made game, and people hate it for a good reason, play Titan's Quest, PoE, or D2.

I can list plenty of digital card games, some with religious elements, but not occult-wise as far as I know. Problem is most of them have zombies and/or demons, which instantly adds negative/evil religious elements 95% of the time. Any card game I play I always go for zombie playstyles, so I might have confirmed myself a spot in Hell already.
The three I'm playing right now are HEX: Shards of Fate, Spellweaver, and Eternal. Eternal doesn't have much religious stuff so far, and of the three is the most popular I think. The devs were doing the Elder Scrolls card game, but got booted last month for some reason. Spellweaver has zombies/demons but also paladins and knights and such. HEX is much more original in terms of lore and has many more strategies to toy with, but I think the devs are having some trouble making money right now. That game has a strange mix of turning fantasy elements on their head, like the bunny clan being a samurai/bushido/necromancy mix, while the orcs are teaming up with humans and elves because they hate the spider clan so much. Sometimes I play Hearthstone and Elder Scrolls Legends, but lately I'm getting into Fable Fortune, if only a bit at a time.

The Pokemon TCG is online too, and it's official. It's a kid-friendly game, so it should be appropriate.
Duelyst is more like a turn-based strategy game than a card game, but it has all the familiar aspects to it.
I will say that Eternal is much more in-depth than Hearthstone. It looks similar, but each faction plays much differently, not to mention that it has Magic's 'five colors five factions' mana system. It also gives away at least a few booster packs a day of the newest set, so no one ever gets left behind for long in comparison to Hearthstone.
Only other one I can think of is Stormbound, but the matches take a while. There's also Gwent, based on Witcher 3's card game, but I don't know if it's as mature as the game it's taken from or if it still has some not-holy aspects to it.

The Waldensians were a group of Christians concentrated in Southern France and Northern Italy, generally attributed to founder Peter Waldo.
They're typically seen as reformers before the Reformation, along with the Lollards and Hussites they actually joined with Calvinist churches once the Reformation hit, too.
Among their teaches are:
>the atoning death of Jesus
>the justification of Jesus
>the fall of man (possibly in a Calvinist sense, i.e., total depravity)
>rejection of Purgatory
>stressed voluntary poverty
>that relics were just dead men's bones not worthy of worship or veneration
>pilgrimages were only good for wasting money
>mandated periods of fasting weren't necessary
>prayer offered in church was just as good and efficacious as prayer in any other prayer (say, a barn)
As you can imagine, Rome took issue with some of their teachings and swiftly laid the anathema on them.
Over time, the Roman church would round up Waldensians, try them as heretics, and have them executed. From what I understand, in 1211 alone 80 people were burned at the stake at Strasbourg, which led to further executions. Which Pope Francis recently apologized for.
As far as a woman leading prayer, I highly doubt historic Waldensians would have done so. Even radical reformers, to my knowledge, never allowed a woman to lead a congregation in anything if a man was present.

This is to say nothing of child massacres and differing concepts ages of maturity or social responsibility. This is a very different world from that of today being full of regulations and such.

One of the bosses you fight is "The Saviour" - a giant statue brought to life by the leader of the order of the sword who is named Sanctus. Now, at a glance this looks like the typical anti-Christian propaganda that Final Fantasy and Persona like to do, but according to the wiki the role of The Savior in the game is an allusion to "The False Prophet" in the book of Revelations. Such similarities are their angelic appearance, yet demonic in nature. Moreover, the propaganda of Sanctus in deceiving the people of Fortuna, parallels the False Prophet's agenda to deceive people by means of fake "miracles"

To add to it, Doom Guy is Catholic. The Cyberdemon could be a warning about transhumanism.
The irony was that the game wasn't even written by Christians, but ended up being a whole metaphor for when humans stop believing in God.

Eh, zelda's japanese. I'd honestly argue that any christian stuff in it is worldbuilding fluff.
>The Triforce is a representation of the Holy Trinity
The triforce represents three virtues from eastern religions and are ultimately tied to the 3 imperial regalia of the japanese imperial family.
Seriously, overall, zelda is a japanese nationalist epic, written for children and skinned in western trappings.

Suprised no one mentioned dark lands. It's an old DOS rpg that is basically 15th century simulator: the game.
No magic system like in most RPGs, but rather, you pray to saints, spending divine favor points per prayer, and these points are restored by doing things such as going to mass and confession.
The game is won by exposing heretical villagers who have ties to witch cults who eventually lead you to the final boss – satan himself.

I'm noticing a common trend here.
The majority of these games aren't "Christian games", at most they could be considered Christian friendly. Castlevania Dracula Chronicle X may portay Christianity in a positive light in so far as you use crucifixes, holy water, exorcisms, etc to fight evil. But that's the extend of it.
To be fair there aren't much truly Christian games out there.

Deus Ex has many references to GK Chesterton, and positive references to God and Christianity. Although you can get a different message out of it depending on the ending you pick. The Helios ending is kind of idolatrous, so I always picked the Tong ending when I played.

It also implied that the other characters were going to Heaven. The dude over the speaker said something like "for the rest of you, there will be peace, maybe something even more" or something like that. Scott Cawthon's Christianity I think is the main reason I never hated the series because I thought it was for furries or something.
One of his other games, The Desolate Hope, had a pro-life theme, I believe. He later removed the end title screen that said "this is for those who never had a chance at life" because people complained, but in his "apology" he clearly hasn't changed his mind on the issue, though he said the game's theme was about the unborn in general and wasn't a political statement on abortion. You can read his response here: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/669342-the-desolate-hope/64609199
He later said he regretted taking out the end screen here: https://www.reddit.com/r/fivenightsatfreddys/comments/5otq6o/the_original_version_of_tdh_had_an_ending_screen/
I saw a forum post awhile ago complaining about "evangelism in video games", talking about The Desolate Hope, and one of the fedora tippers there said that one of his games, The Pilgrim's Progress, was based on an "awful" novel. I couldn't find the thread again, though. The gaming community is so full of fedorafags.
Only when video games in general have a more mature relationship with religion, besides just being able to pray to pagan gods for stat boosts or having some pseudo-Catholics be the villains, will gaming have any sort of worth as an art form.

Tbf, Pilgrim's Progress is pretty irredeemable as a piece of secular literature. It's important historically, and good enough devotionally, but it's very simplistic and melodramatic in its imagery. Hitman's always used extensive Catholic imagery, so I can see that, but yeah I don't get the Batman. I pay an autistic amount of attention to subtitles in video games and I noticed that God is always spelled with a capital G in Arkham City (unlike most games), even when used as an expletive, and the one part where He's mentioned with a pronoun, it's capitalized. So at least Arkham City has Christian grammar :^)

Requiem: Avenging Angel is a biblepunk Half-Life style FPS where you play as an angel and kill a bunch of people oppressing the world, basically the Combine but comprised of humans and demons. You don't kill that many demons, I think, so that meme cannot apply here. It's really old so you have to play it at a shit resolution or accept a broken HUD. You can get it for 10 bucks on steam.
Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi is a horror FPS where you play as a young swordsman who needs to rescue his family and fiance from the vampire Count before he summons an evil spirit named Malachi. Some of your weapons are crucifixes and holy water, the former repelling almost all enemies and killing demons instantly, and the latter being the most powerful item in the game, basically being able to completely cheese all bosses. Some of your family members are priests and they say priest stuff, nothing about Christianity is portrayed negatively, which is nice. If you're like me and you love old horror films and how Christian they all were (even if only superficially in some cases) then you'll like it. It's only 5 dollars and goes on sale decently often.
Interestingly, the protagonist in Requiem is named Malachi, and the main villain in Nosferatu is Malachi. I don't know why game devs love that name so much. It does sound pretty cool, though, a good prophet name.
I'm assuming stuff like this is what most people are going to actually be interested, games with Christian imagery, instead of just being vaguely moral and un-degenerate, though I appreciate that stuff too.

Funnily enough, Blood Money is probably the most un-Christian game in the series. Agent 47 is at his moral low point, he canonically kills innocent and seemingly good people later in the game. The postman, the father and groom of the southern bridge, the priest and journalist at the funeral, he snaps the neck of his pet bird, and shooting the dog in You Better Watch Out seems to be the best course of action if you want the best rank. It kind of bothered me. It was great killing pedophiles and mob bosses and all, but congratulating a young woman on her new marriage and then killing her husband and father is absolutely diabolical. 47 is a much more likeable character in every other game in the series, including Absolution.

That's how pagans see Christians, after all. It reminds me of a scene in an old Christian movie called Demetrius and the Gladiators where one of the other gladiators is asking Demetrius (a Christian slave forced to fight) if he's praying to Mars or something, and he says no because Mars doesn't exist, and everybody freaks out on him. If you take that scene on its own, you'd probably think it was a fedorafag movie.
