Everyone here is at the very least part of the correct Christians denoms, even if you disagree with their denom. I actually asked this to my Catholic family, and they turned me to this passage.

From a New Age/occultist perspective (that i've read, i'm not one myself), if someone prays ambiguously to whatever being to fulfill someone praying for bravery (for example), if a demon answers the prayers it was the person calling the demon that needed to be careful.
