Hey /christian/

I am going to be the new guy at a young adults co-ed bible study. I am a /fit/ Chad, so I can openly express unpopular opinions without much push back and can debate for ages if it comes down to it.

If I mess up socially, it doesn't matter. Ill be leaving this city again anyways. But I wouldn't mind meeting a future wife either.

How do I go about using the gifts God has given me to positively impact this group?

Use the KJV only and eminently expose the NWO versions they are likely using. I guarantee you will find something that has an important changed meaning by listening critically, and then wait patiently for your chance to enrich the study with the real stuff. This should be doable on just about any passage if you have a decent level reading comp, listening skills and came adequately prepared.

Maybe you will even convince some people why the received is better than the critical text in the process.

Don't do this, the KJV is in no way accurate and was manipulated to fit the Anglican church's doctrine better. Use any of the translations on the list here: http://www.usccb.org/bible/approved-translations/
