Well I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on that. There are no such biblical concept that suggest masturbation to be a form of 'self harm'.

God defined reality, reality shows us masturbation is harmful. The bible doesn't say arscenic is toxic, but we figured out it is.

Masturbation literally means self-abuse or self-deception and it destroys valuable seed, it's a misuse of our sexual function, making it self-directed, selfish, and anti-life.

Does the bible ever condone or promote masturbation?
