Lately I am experiencing an overwhelming fear of the scale of existence, what I will have to do to earn a living and pay the bills, how I will manage relationships and family, how I will deal with all the chaos that life throws up and wether I will regret my life later on, contemplating how I will juggle all of this is almost too much to bear, when I trust in God I know I shouldn't fear these things but they are always in the back of my mind, they are exhausting and I look around and don't get why people enjoy their lives with all these problems

I am new to Christianity and am spending allot of time reading about it but lately i am too distracted by these thoughts, they leave me in despair and I don't have the tools to deal with it, I think since having my old view of life changed I haven't gotten used to thinking on this scale, and everything looks abstract and absurd, are there any books in the Bible or elsewhere that can help me?

Read the books of Romans in the Bible if you want more info on how christians are to view life. Also see >>>/pdfs/ and start reading on how to be self sufficient so that you can get away from the trap of lamentations 5:1-9

>REMEMBER, O LORD,what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.

>Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.

>We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.

>We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.

>Our necks are under persecution: we labour, and have no rest.

>We have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.

>Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities.

>Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand.

>We gat our bread with the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness.

Over three thousand years later and it seems nothing has changed, the thing that hath been, it is that which shall be, so saith ecclesasties 1:9

Existence is scary, but if you read scripture, it's pretty clear being afraid of doing stuff is NOT what Christ called us to do.

Read more psalms of thanksgiving - Joy in God's creation is a natural response. Go for a walk in the woods!
