Well they are wrong because modern science works. But the problem with that is that anything not of faith is sin because romans 14:23. You can chooose to use modern medicine not in faith, or to rely on God. Even if God lets you die of disease eventually. So don't use modern life saving medicine if you are a christian following romans 14:23 and the examples in 1 kings 15 of not being dependent on God and something else. But on obeying God alone.
