I’m interested in Christianity, but I have a few questions

1) are the events depicted in the gospels historically accurate

2) in what ways did Jesus fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament

3) what archaeological/historical evidence is there in favor of Christianity’s narrative and core beliefs

Thank you

All of it.

Jesus is God incarnate (isaiah 9:6-7, Zechariah 14:3-9, jeremiah 23:6, etc.), was crucified (Isaiah 53, Psalms 22, Zechariah 12:10, etc), is the eternal shepherd (Ezekiel 34), rule as the son of man (Daniel 7:12-14), etc.

Nah, thank God by prayer.

>1) are the events depicted in the gospels historically accurate

Yes, is there something you have in mind?

> 2) in what ways did Jesus fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament

It's amazing how prophetic it is, honestly, the more you read. You could also look at Micah 5.

> 3) what archaeological/historical evidence is there in favor of Christianity’s narrative and core beliefs

The standard three are Josephus, Pliny, and Tacitus, all who testify to Christ's followers but were not themselves Christians. However, the strongest evidence is the continuation of his Church - the bishops with an unbroken, recorded line of succession directly to Christ, preaching the same message and observing the same sacraments.

You could also read the Didache (literally, Teachings), it's an early Christian document dated to the first century, and the author might have actually known Matthew. You'll see things haven't really changed.

Also, the early Church pretty clearly believed it, they sure went to martyrdom for it a LOT.

>3) what archaeological/historical evidence is there in favor of Christianity’s narrative and core beliefs

Well when you realise the way (((they))) determine dates on things is by measuring the date of the dirt they found it around, literally everything. You see when they use radiocarbon dating they measure the life of the earth which could be trillions of years old because of the time between genesis 1:1 and 1:2 due to ezeikiel 31, isaiah 14, and proverbs 8 which does not prove anything related to the bones or pottery (((they))) find. It's very deceitful the way it is reported by stating the age of the object is the same as the age of the dirt.

>1) are the events depicted in the gospels historically accurate

Yes and they are literal however confusing it is to have read of someone being raised from the dead.

>2) in what ways did Jesus fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament

Jesus fullfilled all of them. Start reading at Mark 1 KJV for a example of fullfilled prophecies.

I've already posted a bunch in a couple other convert threads recently so I'd like to give other anon's a turn unless they end up dropping the ball, but I encourage you to check them out too. They don't deal with your questions specifically but we approached the proof of our faith in other ways so you may find them interesting. Mind the sinposting tho.

But to answer 1). because it is an easy question, it is difficult to say because the Gospels are the only reliable source for the life and ministry of Jesus. The Jewish historian Josephus attests to St. James the Apostle and his martyrdom, but it is generally believed that the references too Jesus as Christ in his work were doctored because Josephus remained a Jew his whole life. Otherwise the only people who wrote about Jesus were those who preached about Jesus. Nonetheless, it is important to remember what the Gospels actually are, i.e. multiple compilations of an oral tradition, condensed into a written narrative only a few decades after the events, that attest to a man who placed himself at the absolute center of the human story and was condemned for committing the ultimate blasphemy in Judaism, i.e. claiming divinity, who rose from the dead as the ultimate proof of his claims, a proof that is testified to by followers who gave up their livelihoods, from fisherman to military commander, and even their lives, because they were on fire with the truth of this claim and performed miracles through it as he prophesized. If you want to accept the historical claim of the Gospels you need to accept the possibility of miracles. If you do they become historical documents that attest to real historical people laying down their lives for the truth, and if you don't then they are insane gibberish. To that end, I recommend you start here.
