Does anybody else here lose instant trust in somebody when they confess they do not believe in God and that its all a lie/general neckbeard redditor rant?

I don't know why but i lose all trust/respect in that individual, like i know they will inherently try to fuck me over, not for believing in God, in these times i keep that to myself unless somebody says they believe first.

f3532e No.579720

It’s because you know they don’t have the same morals as you

abcc34 No.579721

It's completely normal, though I at least try to suppress my urges it's impossible to not have these feelings. Atheists are actually trusted less than rapists in the United States. Why would ANYONE trust someone with no morality whatsoever?

Not really, because I was that and worse when I was 12, I just pity them. It really depends though, I still believed in objective truth and morality when I was an edgy atheist though I derived it from (((humanist))) (corrupted and shitty but still something) principles. The idea that someone genuinely believes pomo shit or is just a psychopath and has absolutely no moral compass scares me, but at least I believe that people are born with a God-given sense of morality that's not easy to suppress.

>Atheists have no morals

I don't know about that. I mean, I've met many atheists who are very good people. Caring, loving, and have good morals. I know that morality is derived from God and His ever lasting goodness.

Because they are generally bad persons. As soon as you reach let God into your heart your monstrous free will is forced to at least not to do bad things and stuff.

>>579739

WOW REALLY MAKES MY MOM SINK!

1) I too met some caring and loving autist people who may or may not have had good morals, they didn't try to rob me, rape me or kill me > that automatically means everyone else is the same.

2) I too met some shady persons with Cross tattos who tried to rob me / rape me / kill me > that also means every single Christian is the same.

3) I also met EVERY OTHER communist atheist person who actually have zero morals, always proud of their """humanitarian """deeds""" (like following some faggot or liking a media post about some recent disaster) act like a bunch of angry stealing roaches, blaspheming people and God, trying to flop you over in deals < b-but, not every com-mie is the same Gommunism has never being tried!

4) I also met EVERY OTHER wanna-be """Christian""" raised as a commie, acting like a commie and actually brainwashed enough to blaspheme you when you simply preach them Gospel < i'm lost because i can't make my own point of view based on real facts and not my feelings.

ANSWER: STOP GENERALIZING!

That's exactly what >>579739 was saying my dear dull friend.

Wait a minute I ran through the post quickly and missed important things

>your monstrous free will

Wait a minute are you Christian or do you just believe in God so you can spit at the gifts he gave you?

8ed8e1 No.579763

It's normal but wrong. Even St. Peter denied Christ 3 times

49bc65 No.579768

>>579762

are you even on a same level of mystery as i am, my unknown Turkish Orthodox Christian friend?

Watch this:

> my will is free

> will is free to choose

> my will is of this world

> which is a material world

> the master of material world is a an old serpent

may his name be forgotten forever

< conclusion: my will is free in deciding who will control it

< i decided to let God rule over me and my will

238c72 No.579775

No. I know atheists of good character and nominal Christians of poor character. Then again none of my atheist friends are neckbeard redditor tier.

669486 No.579782

>>579718

Depends. I wouldn't trust the political types with my important secrets because they're bound to leak it as their beliefs can shift with eass. They sometimes do a full 180 like Kraut and Tea, trying to backstab you in the worst way possible.

f98714 No.579818

No one trusts atheists. Even atheists trust religious people more than other atheists.

It depends. A few atheists I've met were basically undecided theists that received their theological training from YouTube videos and trending Reddit posts. I haven't met one that's really delved into the mystery of Christ; then again I haven't really met anyone that does that kind of business in any pursuit.

Most of the time I keep civil and consider in the back of my mind that I could get fucked over.

1bf427 No.581275

>>579718

No, because where I live religion is so rare and abnormal.

My aunt is a Jehovah's witness, I know a pagan family, and that's basically it.

f9baee No.581289

I feel bad about it, but I cannot fully commit to trusting someone who isn't Christian. Especially when almost everybody where I live is irreligious. My faith in God is my compass in life, and after much studying in philosophy and apologetics, I find it hard to understand how someone can find or understand absolute and true goodness without having a faith in God.

7a1ffa No.581296

>>579718

I don't really care when most people say it, my friends are Christians. To be perfectly honest, most Christians I know lead pretty much the same lifestyle as the atheists I know.

However, what I'm most concerned about is meeting a nice girl and you really start to like her and then she says she's not a Christian. Now there's a problem because raising kids in a home where one parent isn't religious is problematic.

>And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

Luke 16:8

I used to but I don't because the unsaved these days are more in tune with natural law than the saved. Most Christians reject God's law and worship the state as their lawgiver rather than God.

Or not stay celibate and still watch porn. You are aware that married men watch porn too? And men who have regular casual sex?

You either live among godly atheists or nominal Christians

I was an atheist for over a decade. No. I don't lose respect for them. I feel sorrow for them, because I know the level of existential angst that underlies it, at least if they're the intellectually serious type.

It's one thing to say intellectually "morality is relative." Much harder to actually live that way. One should be prepared to guide them back with as much hope as God himself has for their eventual return.

>Does anybody else here lose instant trust in somebody when they confess they do not believe in God and that its all a lie/general neckbeard redditor rant?

Nope. I expect it will be coming eventually anyway. All people, Christians aside, have a fedora rant deep down inside. When it comes forth, I'm not surprised.

But, then I don't trust anyone to begin with UNTIL they prove their faithfulness to Christ. In a country of 60% "Christians" but <5% Christians, it's just common sense.

I usually see it as a challenge and I try and persuade them that at least God exists, Christianity comes in a later stage. I usually find that most "atheists" have a view that can be easily compared to Hegel's, which is theistic, but they did not really think about it, and that's a good starting point.
