There are some non-Protestants, but even then, the only "traditional" aspect of this sub is to whine about r/"Christianity" being a fagfest.

The mod team is nice. The rest of the forum is a dumpster fire, between Eastern "Catholics" who don't listen to their bishops and reject Roman Catholic dogma (not that this is a problem from where I stand…), liberal Catholics who are, well, you know, and pseudo-radtrads who post daily on r/debatefascism and r/The_Donald. Even the few good members (like that canon lawyer) are full of shit.

Lol, I have never seen a traditional member there. It's only liberal "Orthodox" or, again, people from r/debatefascism who want to convert or just did and are happy about it. Well, there's one guy who was in a monastery for years and has interesting stuff to post, and a few others who are too busy studying their religion to have anything annoying to talk about, but otherwise there isn't much that is salvageable there.

The only Christian forums I like are orthodoxchristianity.net (although it's basically dead) and monachos.net

There is, of course, no better Christian forum than actually going to church and talking with your brothers and sisters in Christ though.

I guess we should not have high expectations of Reddit, it is Reddit after all.

Also, those Christian Reddit forums are mostly Americans. I guess I just feel alienated as a European, I don't know if it's similar for you. They just have a different mentality.

I found https://forums.catholic.com/ to be a decent forum. I will have to check out OrthodoxChristianity.net.

Catholic Answers is alright. But any dissident view gets immediately crushed. Many Eastern Catholics on reddit are there specifically because they got banned from Catholic Answers for daring to give an Eastern Catholic disagreement on certain Roman Catholic doctrines, disciplines, and views on history.

At the same time, this means there is less bickering, and there are indeed great posts from the knowledgeable users there are on there.

I'm sorry again for my misdirected anger. I'm not even actually mad at subreddits being imperfect. I'm mad at myself for completely unrelated reasons. Again, I'll leave this up for my shame.

That's actually the case for me, too. There's a very American mentality that pervades these Christian subreddits that makes them incredibly annoying for a European user. I actually only figured out just now that this is what bothers me the most with them.
