What I got from that is that the shroud is probably just some peice of trash cloth that covered Jesus' physical body before he ascended back to heaven. They got a outline of Jesus' physical body from it after huge amounts of debate and testing.

As far as I can tell, the most reasonable position is that it's a real depiction of a crucified man and it is worthy of study, if for nothing else, to understand what Jesus went through.

I think it is unreasonable to believe it is actually Jesus' burial shroud.
