Is there any reason to fell sad because of someone's death, unless you believe that they went to hell or if you needed them to help in your life?

I wouldn't necessarily say that people (at least who I grew up around) as saying death is a negative thing, as much as what makes them feel bad is the loss of a loved one, never being able to see them again in this physical life, not death being "negative" making them feel bad.

Well, we love them and they are no longer visible to us in the same way. You're sad when your friends move away, right? That said, the funeral mass is an Easter celebration.
