You know what? Despite all of its flaws, I think humanity as it is, short of the glory of God, is already one step of perfect.
It is the human nature that drives us towards joy and happiness. The Progressives will never find happiness even with their false eternity because all they look for are flaws and weaknesses in everything to "improve" upon with their over-thinking/hyper-rationalisation and never seeing the inherent good of all things.
We put joy and meaning in a seemingly senseless action like replenishing our energy by eating through cuisine and tastes. Even in our rests, we see dreams which can be fun or beneficial in other ways. We find vigour and relief in our silly kicking of ball across the field into a 'goal'. We do things that are inherently meaningless, but because of the fact that we are human beings. We give meanings and values to it. The human fulfill this very earth and universe. That is our purpose I think, why He has created us. Sins destroy it though, that is why He forbade us from it.
The ceasing of being one, in blind hope to 'transcend', means to throw away what makes humanity great. Namely, our heart and spirit.
And I thank God for that. For our flaws and weaknesses. Everyday, I can still see His works in us all.
