What do yall think about college ministries? Is a church with a large concentration of young people just too susceptible to the winds of doctrine?

Roommate and I (grown up lutheran/reformed respectively) have had some disagreements recently with an evangelical college ministry we are a part of. At its root, as we have discovered, it's charismatic. Words of prophecy exceedingly vague [and will upload "instruction" on this if anyone wants to see]. They do full church services and the songs have gotten more and more vapid, worthless, and heretical pic related – because they ask the Holy Spirit to lead them to the right music but ignore His instruction through the Scriptures and other means.

Starting to wonder whether having a church on campus is ok at all.

I think it's more useful not in creating more faithful but in keeping current faithful from devolving into degeneracy. This is also the window of time when people are nearing the peak of their intellectual efficiencies, so college church groups can operate nicely as religious book clubs. Someone's gotta introduce that breadpill reading list to non-imageboard posters ya know.
