Should gay activist, commie priests get such funeral services and catholic burials? Should tranny activists be given communion? Curious what /christian/ thinks of this event:

The head of the conference of Italian bishops cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, appeared in an online video giving the host “Holy Communion” to a famous transsexual political activist. The performance took place at the funeral of priest, the controversial Genoan Fr. Andrea Gallo, who was a confessed Marxist and out-spoken advocate for homosexuals and who was awarded “Gay Character of the Year” by homosexual activists.

During Pope Francis' election he was in favor of the election of a confessed homosexual as Pope. This same man also proposed homosexual relations between “clergy,” with the aim of reducing the cases of pederasty among the clergy.

Video of the event: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1wBDMiCfeY

>"At the funeral service, the transvestite was given the floor, who from the pulpit praised the reposed thus: “You opened to us the doors of your church and your heart. I thank you that you made us transsexuals feel that this was the will of God and that we were loved by God. We hope that many others will follow your example and somebody will ask forgiveness!”

An LGBT rights advocate, on 15 August 2011 Gallo has been honored as Gay Character of the Year by Gay.it [8] in Torre del Lago.[9] In 2013 he said that the Catholic Church needs an openly gay pope.[10]

Are these things mortal sins? I don't mean BEING gay, I mean standing up for people's rights to not be fired for being gay. Is that a mortal sin?

Is being a Communist a mortal sin?

If yes, then go to confession, be absolved, then you can receive the Eucharist. If no, then it isn't a problem.

Your fee-fees don't determine who can and who cannot receive Christ's salvation. This whole notion of "Why do people I don't like get communion?" is the sin of Pride.

fc6b35 No.563685

>>563672

How many people actually get fired for 'being gay'? It's just like with blacks complaining that get fired because they're black: they're fired because they were causing trouble and acting up. Same with gays: the ones that keep it low key and don't take issue with petty shit are just fine, it's the ones that raise up a storm and fuck around the office and act up that get fired for 'being gay', just like that gay couple that was upset and raided up a NATIONAL TRAGEDY of being denied a cake from a Christian establishment that chose not to serve them, as they are want to do.

It has no place is normal, day to day discourse, let alone the discourse of a man who should've dedicated his life to God as his title implies. There shouldn't be extra privileges afforded to faggots just because it's considered en vogue and politically virtuous.

You're missing the point.

Your hypothetical question doesn't work because it's a PR nightmare in practice. It's like asking that we can fly in paper airplanes if gravity was lowered.

From what I'm seeing, anyone opposed to gay anything in the west gets severely punished. Brandon Eich lost his job from making an anonymous donation. So no gays aren't persecuted to begin with, they're rewarded.

Define "rights"

You can make an argument for defending their basic human rights, but when you include things such as right to gay marriage or right to adoptions as we so often do in the modern world then yes, undermining the sexual moral code of the Church and desecrating marriage is a sin

It's not about the right to be gay. It's about the right to own a house or have a job or live a life. Are only gay people under your umbrella or do you also believe a gambler or a fornicator should not be allowed to marry or have a job? Does a prideful person lose their rights? A blasphemer?

What is your sin? Should you be denied basic human rights because you stole something or because you had impure thoughts? Where is the line drawn?

>Should gay activist, commie priests get such funeral services and catholic burials?

Obviously not.

>Should tranny activists be given communion?

Tranny activists are heretics and therefore ipso facto excommunicated. Anyone who thinks they should be allowed communion is also a heretic and excommunicated.

91f2bd No.563835

> It's about the right to own a house or have a job or live a life.

gays have those rights by virtue of being human, not because they engage in degeneracy

> Should you be denied basic human rights because you stole something

you seem totally confused as to how "rights" even work within natural law and social agreements…

59c7db No.563837

>>563827

That's not really the point. The original question "Does being a gay rights activist constitute a mortal sin?" is the point. We're not talking about undermining the Church. Nobody is forcing the Church to do anything. If it's not a mortal sin, then OP's question becomes moot.

>>563833

Can you back that up in the CCC? Not heretics in general, but can you provide evidence that the Church considers tranny activists to be heretics? Your feels does not heresy make.

>>563835

>gays have those rights by virtue of being human

Except you're saying that on a board that overwhelmingly supports the death penalty for being homosexual, which strips them of their right to life.

>homosexuality is a grave sin

>gay rights activists are encouraging homosexuality, a grave sin

Gay rights has nothing to do with civil liberties. Homosexuality had always been a subversive force in a society and has rarely if ever brought any good into this world. It spreads disease, it spreads pederasty, it ties more and more people into spiritual levies that run contrary to God. We should not be treating these people as if they are victims, we should be treating them as God tells us to: to those who listen, we evangelize and try to being them back to God, and the remaining reprobates receive our scorn.

So, if you're born in a Capitalist country, you can choose not to be Capitalist? How, exactly, would you go about that? Capitalism/Communism are economics. You can't personally change that to suit your own needs. It's literally impossible.

You can't live in a Capitalist nation and say, "I bought this land, but it belongs to everyone!" Legally, by the system, it belongs to you and you alone, which makes you and you alone responsible for it. You have to pay the taxes on it, etc. You can't just "become Communist".

Unless you think "Communist" means "Liberal".

Communism and humanism are a perfectly clear heresy.

Sadly the catholic Church as a whole has been irreparably damaged by the french curie, which after and because the excess they had witnessed in WWII, giving birth to two of the worst heresy (progressism AND integrism, the second being the reaction to first) the catholic Church has ever known.

Because the catholic Church is a monolithic organization there has NEVER been in 19 centuries an occurrence where heresy weren't stomped out (or at least try to be stomped out), first with words, second with violence.

It's dubious the Church will be capable to survive embracing some.
