Quite the contrary actually, all the archaeological, geological and biological evidence points to it (at least as regards the genus Homo or the species Homo sapiens; when exactly and in which fossil species the ex nihilo creation of rational soul, and therefore of humans proper, happened is unknowable by scientific means).

I think it's a much more complex situation than simply "out of Africa" or anything of the sort. There was obviously major migrations all through out history, and I think the only reason Sapiens got their gay little hands on the world was for the climate. Once it starts getting cold again they'll probably die off.
