If you really want to understand why they don't like argumentation you have to research on how the churches during the late anti-nicaean to early post nicaean era when they were mix with neoplatonistic monasticism, which they focused on the "energies" of the Christianity.

Of course, there are or were movements with protestantism with similar outlooks which are called Pietism and charismaticism.

what do you mean argue? like debating televangelists? we have had no reason to do this because we didn't spawn any such children from us unlike Catholics. there are plenty of books you can read giving　Orthodox "argunents" for most issues. which is why it always baffles me when people make claims like in OP, you just have to look at our books and you will find ones against Catholics and Protestants.

Orthodoxy accepts that the divine is a mystery and can't be made subordinate to human reason as Catholicism attempts to do. So in Orthodoxy you don't need to explain things you just accept what you're told by Christ, the Apostles, and the Fathers, like a child (Matt 18:3). There's plenty of arguments defending Orthodox beliefs to non-Orthodox, but within Orthodoxy there's no need for them.
