God made your testicles to produce testosterone. Trying to undo that is a sin against creation, just like becoming transgender. You might try to say you're becoming a eunuch for the kingdom but I think that refers to the mere act of voluntary celibacy not literally destroying the God-given functions of your body to become a literal eunuch.

I also struggle with this question. Jesus figuratively describes casting off stumbling blocks in terms of casting off bodily members in Matthew 5. How does He judge taking His words literally and removing/disabling body parts and functions that frequently lead to sin?

Pharmakeia comes to mind. The word we translate as "witchcraft" is actually relating to taking drugs.

Now, on the other hand, food is a drug. Coffee and sugar affects the chemical balance of your body. So, I've always wondered what pharmakeia exactly meant.

You'd be doing it to try and conform to God's will but you need to carefully consider hidden side effects. Don't damage your ability to be fruitful and multiple unless you're willing to go whole-hog. I guess, why not just cut off your junk if you want to go for complete devotion? Origen did it and, while that reason wasn't given to me, to those it is given, they should accept it.

Taking any drug to damage your body's natural form is a corruption and a pretty disgusting idea.
