Gentlemen, I've had an idea.

The family is perhaps the most holy of all human institutions, as well as being the cornerstone of civilization. However, I fear that hear in the west we face a shortage of girls who would be good mothers that would instill faith in their children. There are a few factors that play into this, western decadence, materialism, (((media narrative))), BUT I think the most important factor is upbringing. Most girls aren't being taught to be good and modest mothers.

>The Proposal:

I propose that it be made mandatory to send all Catholic girls to convents instead of college. They will live and be taught by nuns, they will BECOME nuns*. They will learn the teachings of Christ, and serve the community. They can be made to teach in Catholic schools, which would greatly reduce the cost so that more families could send their children to these schools as opposed to (((public schools)))

*However, they will be allowed to marry and have families should they find a man. Those who can't find a man, can't have a family, or simply don't want to will remain nuns.

thoughts on this proposal? Is it feasible, or am I being too autistic?

You're being too autistic.

I think most parents would be hesitant to send their children(boys or girls) away to a religious school after all the scandals from the decades before.

Plus if the family is the cornerstone, then separating the family can't be the solution.

>Plus if the family is the cornerstone, then separating the family can't be the solution

Then why would sending them to (((college))) be a better alternative?

Oh, I thought you were talking about some kind of boarding school.

I mean a convent instead of college when they're legally adults and already feeling rebellious doesn't sound like a good idea either. How are you going to keep them there?

Unbiblical.

The ideal is all children be homeschooled for their primary education, then the boys can start working/go to trade school/whatever additional education, and the girls stay and keep the home. The girls should try to get themselves married ASAP, but if they're not, they should continue to live at home.

Sounds very Muslim.

Browsing internet or even using electricity isn't biblical you know.

No, the Church is.

>they will BECOME nuns

>However, they will be allowed to marry and have families should they find a man

What kind of nun is that? Friendzoning God after finding a husband? Well screw you.

A more realistic solution would be working within your church and community to effect that change. Dysfunction cannot be rectified from widespread policy, only from what was done prior to the mushrooming of bureaucracy in the modern world: the working of families and virtuous individuals to assist those who were castaway in life's trials.

Where I live, college is an expectation for all, regardless of sex. Only a small niche of Christians (mostly Catholics and a single Lutheran church) hold traditional values for family organization. Our minority status (politically/sociologically speaking), coupled with our contrary beliefs lends us to be treated as a novelty rather than something to be taken seriously. For that reason, I do what I can, looking for a pious girl to court and evangelizing where I can, though I am but one man.

There is a verse that mentions it though. Here we are:

>(Job 38:35 KJV) Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are?

Sounds great. Men should do the same too. That way our sons can stay away from pornography and premarital sex. And if they don't marry, they have a brotherhood and serve God!

This.

Nuns are married to Christ, end of story.
