Hey! i remember you. This happens with drug addict family members, sometimes it does more harm everyone to enable them.Sometimes the isolation gets through to them. However when it's someone locked into a mentality and won't listen than there is no helping it. Hopefully someday she grows out of it before it's too late. I know i was a sjw in high school, and quickly got out of it the more i directly studied the other side.

There was a bible verse about how if people don't listen to leave home. I have a person that is a little bit in a similar situation, only not degenerate, i told this person to pray and she ended the conversations with a polite but abrupt thank you.

You are supposed to be able to take care of yourself once you become an adult. Unfortunately a lot of people are not good at it, and once let loose with no one to tell them what to do/directionless, they can tend to go off the deep end.

I don't want to blame college, I really don't, but from personal experience this was what causes it a lot of the times.

I turned 18 and completely went off the deep end. Everyone wants something to be angry about/change at that age, and that anger is often times directed at the people who love you. The whole Marxism/atheism combo is a potent mixture and I have seen it sway even the smartest men into a realm of absolute self destruction and hedonism that is just now starting to catch up with them. Imagine being told by an institution and your peers that you are retarded(even though you got into college just as much as they did) and that they have facts, numbers, and science to back up their judgement of you. Then imagine you cave to this social pressure because you are lonely, suddenly you are god it's self and you have a chorus of students/professors who let you into their circle so you can have a continuous boost to your ego. There are no consequences for your actions, and even when there are it's never your fault. For a bunch of atheists they sure do like to say everything is just 'bad luck'. Also humility and abstaining from anything is for freaks. The constant ego boosting from each other starts leading to a cognitive decline after a while. There is no need to really think about something when you are already right!

Then I turned 27 and did a complete 180. Church, family values, chastity, sobriety. Hell, I even had a sit down with my dad and thanked him for his patience with me(he's practically a saint) and promised I would start making it up to my mother, of course she's just happy to have me full of happiness and responsibility. I say the difference came about when I was no longer around toxic people/loose women on a daily basis.

thats good for you bretheren. Churches are a great source of community and divine authority are good for humility.

Is your sister now alright? what advice can you give us young uns on ourselves and raising the people we love?

My advice is:if you have teens/college kids right now, just have some patience. I'm not saying be walked on, but just don't let them push your buttons. They are looking for reactions and a fight from you, don't give them one.

People from my generation are having a hard time actually maturing for some reason. I have friends who are almost 36 and they still can't handle everyday adult responsibilities.

If you have smaller kids:restrict their internet time and monitor it like crazy. For some reason parents will make sure their kids can't go see a certain movie, but will let them have unrestricted access to the internet, especially on their phones.

Also remember that kids are just plain weird.
