Dogs at times do it too. And mostly, rather than assholes, I'd describe cats as a bit cold, but not without care; I had a few cats, and most of them were friendly and wanted to be petted. One of them was almost as a dog, always following me…when I went to school, I had to tell him to go back home, and he did. Then a few years ago I moved to another Country and my mother took care of him. Poor critter, he missed me so much that, in less than half a year of going to my room and standing on my bed calling for me, he got so sad he was struck by an heart attack.
