>I believe that neither of those could force all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark.
You believe things but you believe them wrong.
Now, you are right that its unrealistic that a human can do that, but that human has the gift of persuasion form Satan who will empower him according to the Book. And then once the governments are subjugated, things are actually simpler. Let me give you a example with the EU…
So in the European Nations, the governments watch out for everything. They know what you are farming, how long you are farming, if your employees are working during the right hours. They basically control commerce because they can put rules on the business owners and they control how they should employ their employees and if they should fire them.
Its even worse in Britain because there are cameras everywhere so the entire public can be monitored. And they're the nation that is splitting off the EU.
Sounds like enough power to enforce the mark of the beast.
Meanwhile your AI machination thing couldn't work because brute force only gets so far. You can have tanks and jets but without a police force you can't enforce things on individual homes. A huge machine would never be able to enforce the mark of the beast.
>and the Abomination of Desolation will be some kind of android that has had "life" breathed into it.
Without the holy spirit? I doubt it.
