The KJV translators translated the apocrypha from the Septuagint. It was originally bound between the Old and New Testaments, and it's now sold as a separate volume. That only covers the Catholic apocrypha. The Orthodox apocrypha is included in the Orthodox Study Bible and the Brenton Septuagint.
