Having children later in life increases the likelihood that something will go wrong. It increases the likelihood that you and your wife wont even be able to have kids. It seems like a big deal when you are young, but it really isn't. 18-24 is prime time for baby making and you're off to a good start. Both of your parents are even young enough to help out. You don't have to spend a bunch of money on a wedding. My brother and sister in law got a common law marriage on their lunch breaks.
