I think it's because she epitomises "journalism 2.0" where she gets the cameraman to interview HER as though a journalist's opinion about things, much less her ugly bonce, matters.

I can't say for sure, but I'd reckon much of the violence perpetrated by the IRA was not of a Christian nature…

Unless it was all actually an act of God and that was God going to war with the Brits and the Protestants for their sins against Catholics.

now having cleared away some of the dross, anyone who knows anything about the historic political divide between those in Ulster who know in the very core of their being that they are British, and those who know in the very core of their being that they are Irish, has not always been aligned with their religious practice

to put in simply, the original Unionists who wanted to remain part of the Union with Britain were practising Roman Catholics, and conversely, the Protestants were minded toward a Free State or Republic of Ireland

then all of a sudden around 150yrs ago that all got swapped around; and it was the Protestants who sided with Unionism, and the Roman Catholics adhered to Irish Nationalism

there are many reasons for this, such as the posture of the British Government toward Ireland and Roman Catholicism, and the manipulation of narrative by local politicians

but all that to say, Politicians are not above exploiting religious zeal for their agenda - conflating a sense of national heritage and a desire to preserve it, with the work of the Kingdom of God - and this culminated into a dirty, dirty war in this country that saw thousands murdered and disappeared, with Governments in both Britain and Eire colluding with paramilitary organisations which saw the conflict escalate hopelessly while making a lot of money and political capital for those who kept it spinning

and while it may all seem like the distant past to many of you wee fellas who never got caught in a bomb blast or had armed men break through the front door, this country has been ravaged by a satanic conflict masquerading as religious piety, and the wounds will not be healed for generations
