Some protestants, not all, but some, believe that all they need is the King James corrupt version of the Bible. (or some other corrupt version).
This is called Sola Scriptura. It is an obviously false belief.
1) The Bible itself says Sola Scriptura is false! Saint Paul tells us to follow the written and oral teachings of the Church. The Bible is obviously written, the oral teachings are obviously not the Bible, but the Apostolic teachings of the Holy Mother Church.
2) Before the Holy Mother Church created the Bible, there wasn't a Bible! So, clearly the Church itself is a source of divine inspiration, as the Bible itself says For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matt 18:20).
The Holy Mother church decided on the Cannon of the Bible (which books go into it) at the end of the 2nd Century AD, and it was divinely inspired into Latin about 400 AD. The Sola Scriptura's answer to this 400 year period of no Bible? They shut you up! Clearly, the Holy Ghost was with the early Church up to 400 AD.
3) The protestants say the Bible must be interpreted but there are over 2000 different protestant interpretations, thus showing that at least 1999 are wrong, and most certainly all of them are wrong. Clearly, the Bible alone is false, or there would be just 1 protestant religion.
