This is a game in which nations compete in space.

While there is no specific back story, there is a very general win condition; control all systems in the game.

That is not exactly a specifically implied goal and point of the game, but if that "win" condition happens, we will either retire the galaxy and move to another galaxy to start a new chapter of the game (with new nations), or, end the game and restart in the same galaxy with fresh nations, or, finally, end the game and cease play.

Race fluff: The Sienha are a worm or eel like race that evolved in the swampy lands on the continents of Ralu. The Sienha worms have evolved to work, and stick, together working as a collective and pass information and nutrients between them through their skin. Individually the worms are individuals with their own central nervous and digestive systems. The worms attach to each other through a mixture of small nervous hairs, that allow for chemical and electric signals to pass from worm to worm, allowing for sharing of information and increased collective brainpower, and a sticky slime that allows for the transfer of nutrients from one worm to another. This also allows the worms to act in unison similar to muscles in larger organisms. The Sienha form colonies in shells, exoskeletons, or around skeletons to allow the worms to form colonies akin to larger creatures for self defense and manipulation of tools.

The Sienha's history is split into Ages based on what the exoskeletons were commonly made of. The Age of Shells saw the Sienha spread through the world. The Age of Bronze was the age where metallurgy spread through the world and the first empires rose from tribes. The Age of Iron saw the rise and fall of many empires as iron working and steel working were discovered. The Age of Machine brought the first mechanical exoskeletons and many major inventions such as steam power, guns, and later electricity. The Age of Digital began with the creation of the first computer and exoskeletons were built with more and more advanced digital components and exploration of other planets and solar bodies in the system. The Age of Void began with the creation of the first warp drive, and the joining of the nations of Ralu under a democratic union.

Sienha require food and water like all creatures but can easily share these between worms in a colony.

3 of the creatures visit the diplomats you send, then, assume a triangular position around your diplomats in a serene ceremony. The diplomatic message is entirely sent through telepathy, and all of it is sent in only a moment of connection.

While the Worudbian voice speaks images of bombs more powerful and terrifying that anything seen in modern history detonating are shown, suns blowing up, planets torn apart by beam weapons, gas giants detonating in nuclear reactions, asteroids used like giant cannonballs.

Meson rockets are rockets that shoot mesons to propel themselves, they leave absolutely zero pollution, absolutely zero trace chemicals, and make a slight humming sound as they hover slowly (or speedily) up down left and right. They are conventional rockets otherwise, and do not travel at warp speed (unless upgraded, which is possible and within your capability).

The silent, all almost exactly the same looking beings have a unique culture to be sure, it appears they use telepathy in place of any verbal dialog, and they have relatively few, simple cultural traditions, despite their cultures very great age and state of advancement. The remainder of the diplomats visit is uneventful and the Worudbians treat them hospitably.

Race fluff: The Sienha are a worm or eel like race that evolved in the swampy lands on the continents of Ralu. The Sienha worms have evolved to work, and stick, together working as a collective and pass information and nutrients between them through their skin. Individually the worms are individuals with their own central nervous and digestive systems. The worms attach to each other through a mixture of small nervous hairs, that allow for chemical and electric signals to pass from worm to worm, allowing for sharing of information and increased collective brainpower, and a sticky slime that allows for the transfer of nutrients from one worm to another. This also allows the worms to act in unison similar to muscles in larger organisms. The Sienha form colonies in shells, exoskeletons, or around skeletons to allow the worms to form colonies akin to larger creatures for self defense and manipulation of tools.

The Sienha's history is split into Ages based on what the exoskeletons were commonly made of. The Age of Shells saw the Sienha spread through the world. The Age of Bronze was the age where metallurgy spread through the world and the first empires rose from tribes. The Age of Iron saw the rise and fall of many empires as iron working and steel working were discovered. The Age of Machine brought the first mechanical exoskeletons and many major inventions such as steam power, guns, and later electricity. The Age of Digital began with the creation of the first computer and exoskeletons were built with more and more advanced digital components and exploration of other planets and solar bodies in the system. The Age of Void began with the creation of the first warp drive, and the joining of the nations of Ralu under a democratic union.

You could sell the spice token, but it would be for 1,000, not 1,500. Also you can upgrade the legendary drydock, you just didn't roll well enough. To upgrade a legendary you must roll above 80.

The nay's have it.

I'm going to most likely either do one of two things.

Either

A (most likely), dismantle the system and keep the working bits and leave the rest, to build other systems and ideas with it.

OR

B (less likely but possible) rework it over the long course of time until every fine tuned minute detail is worked out and explained, (as best as possible), then restart it.

In the meantime I'm going to give my evolution game's retooled model (less mindbogglingly crunchy now) a try, so I'll be starting that soon.
