They wiped out most users, and now they require two factor authentication to get in. They took a tiny community and shrank it even more. They were talking about auto parts or some shit last I saw. They even went down the "furries" and "anime" route, so it is really quite a small deviant and homosexual place now. On the plus side Storm was pushed out of a leadership position.

While some of that is correct, why do you always change a couple of the details to fit the story you want to tell?

Yeah, the discord is overmoderated. There aren't that many people with a bubblegum fetish and they act like they're managing thousands. And it's all an effort to try to protect literally 2 girls from getting posted here.

It would have made a lot more sense for them to say "Okay, if you don't want your pics shared publicly, use the private forum." Instead, they made it so only a tiny few people get access to the Pictures channel, which effectively means there is no community and will just shrink into nothing over time. Which it basically has already.

In the end though, it doesn't really matter since barely any content ever got posted there anyway. We're talking about 10 pictures from the same 3 people over the course of a year. They don't want to endulge in a fetish, they just want to TALK about it.

Whatever. The discord is dead and they killed it. Good riddance, I guess.

That's the problem with having a fetish community that discourages content from being shared. Imagine going to pornhub and not finding any porn, just people chatting about what porn they like or what they did over summer vacation.

At the end of the day, people in a fetish just want to get off. Talking and making friends is cool but if you actively DISSAUDE people from posting content or entomb it away from everyone then you're going to end up with one dead community.
