Is it a good idea to go to the bank to invest?

my bank has an agent who's in charge of helping people invest,ive been told"banks scam you1!" but also i think if that was true the bank would go broke.

I dont want to hire a private broker who might indeed scam me for his own gain. a legal bank seems like a more solid option.

I have around 300K units of local currency ,knowledge of geo-politics. honestly I want to become someone in a good social position rather than use money for luxury items.

Just make a brokerage account with a major place like Ameritrade, IB, Vanguard, Fidelity, Robinhood, etc. Bank investment products are usually retard-proofed to hell because only crayon eaters "invest" through their bank.
