Be honest with yourself. What do you think is wrong, is missing or do you need to do?

How do you think you'll get there? Is it realistic?

I believe that in order for you to get rich ,practically, you need to be good at something, better than anyone else, but that takes years of hard work. In order to refine a skill and start widening your horizon of knowledge and bring more skills to the field, its organic, you learn as you do. I'd call this making yourself the product, because only you know how to do what you do. When someone has a question that regards your field of work they HAVE to go to you because you've been the only one that's been there long enough to know.

But how do you find something where you don't mind starting from the ground up. Where you don't mind spending your whole life trying to achieve authoritative status in a field. What should one consider when making a decision like this?

But that journey doesnt interest me in the slightest… I just want the money today. I know. I know. It's a childish thought i have to rid of.

So in the end, what's stopping me? I don't know where to start

Shit happens, basically.

I have a lot saved up and a lot invested, at least for someone my age, but that isn't to say I could have done better, and that I couldn't have been more diligent about my investments. In addition, things around the house break down, cars get damaged, health issues arise, etc. Alas, it is not always easy to just save money and invest it safely, as money is required to deal with these happenings.

Do I think I'll have at least a million by the age of thirty? Yeah, probably. I'm not so disillusioned as to think that I'll be able to retire with that, but it would be nice knowing that whatever happens in life, I'll have that little lump of money to pull from every now and again, and even then, I'll still invest with it.

I suppose it's just a matter of not quite knowing how to roll with the punches yet, but I know in time I will learn.

Perfectly summed up. It doesn't help that I'm an average person overall. Average looks, intelligence… I can't help but think being rich isn't for me.

Thats absolute HORESHIT and loser talk.

the only thing stopping anyone from being rich is money itself, without money you can't build wealth.

even the dumbest of low iq dipshits can become a millionaire.

Connections. I've been around the world in incredibly nich hobbies. The only ones who can make something out of it had previous connections they made through family while growing up.

Look at a shopping center and a good chunk of those businesses have never actually made a profit. They have enough investment to survive for years before the owner realizes he made a mistake. But you could still brag that you were a business owner.

This is the state of the economy today. Without breaking the rules its next to impossible to rise up in rank.

anytime you get a paycheck you need to split it into savings and don't touch it, after paying all your bills.
