> How is it free?

They invest your unsettled funds after a trade. It's also pretty basic software.

> When is it coming to my country?

Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?

If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.

> Is this the place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?

No, gtfo

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?

No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?

thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.

Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or Yahoo/Google finance for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

>How do I git gud?

>If I have Robinhood do I need to worry about 'Free Riding' violations?

No, it's not applicable for limited margin accounts (instant), and if you don't have instant, RH won't let you buy with unsettled funds.

> Can I use Robinhood on my PC?

Yes, download an android emulator. Setup is extremely easy. http://www.memuplay.com/

I saw UVE on my screen yesterday, trading at very low P/E despite good fundamentals (PE is 5 and their earning look fine). It pays about 3% in dividend fairly regularly as well.

I think people had been selling off insurance companies in the south because of the hurricane. I bought at 18.70. Today the stock shot up nicely in the morning, maybe because news came out that the hurricane wouldn't as bad as was thought (what a surprise, sensationalism in MSM, whoda thunk it). I saw it hit 23 in the morning (sorry I didn't tell you guys, but most of those gains was in the first few minutes, you wouldn't have made it anyway), then watched it decline, luckily thought of setting a stop at 22.4, which was triggered at noon and I ended up selling at 22.3. Almost a 20% profit in a day, not too bad.

I kinda like this company (from brief look through their details), I think they took an unfair beating in 2015-2016. I would have bought it even without the hurricane, it was just a nice bonus.

Right now it's still trading 22, I think there's some overvaluation in that due to hurricane hysteria and parasites who got drawn to the 20% jump. I would wait until the hurricane is over, I suspect the price will first drop as retard sell because they think insurance companies get blindsided by disasters instead of planning for them. Then the frenzy will die down, and it will start rising, hopefully this hurricane bullshit will have been a catalyst for this very undervalued stock to reach a fairer level.

I'm planning to wait out the weekend, maybe set a limit buy at 19 for monday depending on how after-hours data looks. Then I'll hold it mid-term since it's a good company. Also looking at the option chain, the option traders seem really bullish.

What do you guys think?

>>1264

I'd love to hear your reasoning. Isn't buying biotech basically gambling?

>>1268

>buy 10 or 20 of this share that's 216k a pop

>you will be rich by the end of the day

Sure, in fact you'll be rich even before you buy it.

You must be thinking of BRK-B which isn't terrible but how much steam do you think it's got left in it? Buffett is getting old too.

Think I'll hold on to it, still a cheap stock. Dunno, maybe sell a call.

did some quick n dirty TA on UVE, honestly doesn't look too hot man, those dumps in Dec 15 and Sep 16 are ruthless. If you really wanna buy I'd set a limit order around $18.50 but it looks like it's going to a 10-15 range, if it can't hold that then down further to 5-8.

looks like a penny stock that got a hard pump, getting dumped atm.

fundamentals are good for long term plays but for determining when to buy/sell, a chart is necessary, imo. all the activity a chart plots out IS the history of the asset, the sentiment behind it, etc. Charts are the most immediate source of reliable data about an asset one can have. Price history is the most important history.

whoops, if it doesn't hold 16-18, then 12-15, then some resistance around 10 and then 5-8. If it moves to 25 and starts pushing up might be worth trying to ride it to 30. Right now I wouldn't touch this.

not like i'm a pro or anything but using this style of TA has really helped me decide what's cheap and what's expensive. You have to have a concrete plan and stick to it in order to remove emotions from your risk management. Otherwise you'll make impulsive and undisciplined decisions which is never going to work in your favor, the competition you're playing against is far more professional than that.

Someone gonna be kind enough to break down what Robinhood is real quick in a nutshell for someone who thinks people who buy and sell stocks are the manipulative downfall reason of any society?
