As long as you enjoy, that's all that matters.
It's oldschool in the sense that the spirit remains with stuff that's not necessarily out of place and completely deprecates existing content. It's oldschool in the sense that nothing gets implemented unless it passes a poll where 75% are in agreement with the new changes.
But yeah, it gets updates, and it's the more popular of the two runescapes out now. It consistently have 3-4 times more players than RS3

Huh. That sounds real good actually.
I think I played RS3 years ago, didn't like it much.
But RS just really ain't made for me.
>LEWD!
Yeah, like Huniepop would be the lewdest game I play.
I have a somewhat-hobby of playing lewd games in non-lewd ways. Started with challenging myself to 100% a game that way yeaaaars ago, and the game turned out to be surprisingly fun, so now I dig for gems in the dirt.

It does have some advantages. Makes the mod actively participate in the community, carefully listens to its feedback and tries designing ideas that has a lot of support before they try and poll the changes. A lot of the content being added are based on well-written carefully-thought ideas from the community. Don't have many games like this anymore.
And yeah, RS3 is "easy mode". It's.... different. Wouldn't even call it runescape tbh.
Oh wow~
Quite funny :3

In america it's about giveaways to the richest people. It's what makes nothing get done for 90%+ of the population.
>>2331459
The problem is that most issues have no middle ground for some people. It's either you give $24 billion for this give nothing. If you give $0.10 to the problem then the people that want to give nothing are raging pissed.
The proper govt that runs things and aren't hyperpartisan political hacks asked for money for border security, congress says ok. Then trump say nope, i want 3.5 times that for a wall to put up so all my bitches will be happy. No wall, no food for government workers.

I do wonder if they'll eventually do something similar to what Jagex did with OSRS. I doubt the people who'll play their Vanilla game would prefer if it always stayed that way without new patches to fix some balancing issues, or patches that brought in more content. Most who played Vanilla did love BC after all. Instead of believing that they know best, they should just include the community into the development of it. It works elsewhere so I don't see why it wouldn't work for them as well
>>2331465
Perhaps, but at some point, everybody would realize they go nowhere. If they only need 50% support, they won't try and think outside the box. When 50% is all you need, then the system eventually ends up becoming a two-party system in one way or another.
And it's just flawed on so many levels

I think the biggest problem more or less, is that the party that comes with an idea and tries to get that through the system, will rarely get it through just because the other party will try to stop it for the sole reason that it wasn't them who came up with the idea, even if the suggestion is something the party should be in agreement with.

That happened endlessly during the Obama administration. Immigration reform had a fuck ton of votes but the people that love to run on the immigration problems to use to get elected decided to not bring the vote up and pass the bill.
Big ass companies that make 100 million or 100 billion a year in profits want massive tax cuts and pay money to get candidates elected for their tax cuts. The other side don't like tax cuts like that for the filthy rich and massive corporations so the other side fights like hell to keep them out of power.
I mean it all comes down to ignorant kindergarten shit but then there are really high stakes.
Imagine if Bush didn't go to Iraq and congress stopped him.
