Hitomi, a magical girl who lost her ability to see colors, is sent back in time by her granny to get her condition fixed and maybe learn how to socialize while she's there.

She didn't exactly agree to the whole timetravel idea, but it's irreversable and now she's back in 2018 with only a map and a letter for past-granny.

Once she arrives in 2018, she lands in the bedroom of an aspiring artist whose works are the only thing she can see in color. And that is probably where a timeparadox romance plot full of misunderstandings will start in episode 2.

I enjoyed the visual style of the show especially near the end of the first episode with the stark contrast of vibrant colors and grey.

What the absolute fuck was this first episode? That's enough material for at least 4 different anime shows all crammed into one. It probably won't be that good as it loses focus between all the different excuses for drama.

I want to know the consequences of the time travel dickery:

mc is not granny (granny has birthmark on cheek, mc doesn't), but clearly mc has met granny before

at what point does granny start saving up the time magic?

does mc teach the magic shop how to use magic properly?

does magic exist in 2018 japan or is it more akin to esoteric occultism at this point?

Nice animation, but I think the story will be a mess. This seems serious enough of a romance/drama that they won't make good use of the budget outside bollywood tier effects and camera pans.

Younger granny will appear (and will be somehow less moe than old granny), but I doubt the girl will get anything on with anyone.

This is the kind of passive lead that can ruin even a well written story, and since this is looking to be the next Glasslip, I'd say we're fucked.
