Oh boy, sure. Why not. I'm not gonna add a fuckton of spoilers outside this warning since most of the post would end up as a block of black and OP is a faggot. If you want the tl;dr: it's your typical OP isekai but the protag got jacked from a "perfect OC" self-insert fanfic from ff.net and dropped into a slime body. Can't recommend and, by god, I tried to like it and gave it a lot of chances.
I decided to give the manga a chance, didn't mind it for a while. Then the slime showed off just how broken it was by:
>effortlessly making friends with a dragon known for scaring everyone shitless and subjugating an entire region
>bestowing power onto goblins and turning them into unfailingly powerful & loyal walking titty fanservice and references to better things
>conquering fucking everything after that
>effortlessly duplicating enchanted weapons
>creating the most perfect, powerful medicine in the world in itself by chance and having enough to use it constantly and share barrels of it with randoms
<I know there's in-story reasons for every one of these but that doesn't mean it's not a retarded cop-out so the writer can make the slime as perfect as they want.
I'm willing to let the dragon thing slide since a lot of these start out with something similarly fantastical. Alright. Then the first thing that really made me raise an eyebrow was him slaughtering the FUCK out of the leader of the wolves, temporarily taking the leader's form in front of the wolf's own son, then the son following him no questions asked with no grief or conflict. In fact, he became stupidly loyal and overprotective instead. They then took a character that had some potential to be interesting (girl from Earth from another era stuck in more ways than one) and instead of developing that with some decent writing or something, they just used her as a means to give the protag a trap body it can play around with whenever it wants. Oh, and a fire spirit to eat that definitely won't come up again in some beneficial way.
Then every monster got a "name", all shit like Lake1, Lake2, Lake3 (the boring tedium of this is the exact tone of the manga), which made everyone stupidly powerful and also more attractive and humanoid in appearance because convenient. Except the wolves, they just got bigger and grew horns for some reason. They all started a city and are now being ruled over by a character so benevolent and powerful that no one is unhappy EVER, no one can stand against them, and no one can find any decent reason to oppose any of this. Every time a human takes issue with the monsters making a city, they just get nice'd down and get shown just how perfect everything is and they don'tt argue anymore. The slime has no real opposition other than those meaniepants bigot humies, and they are ALWAYS shown to be in the wrong for disagreeing with it. The slime is never really wrong, and the few times it's mistaken it's never a permanent consequence outside the aforementioned character that only existed to die and get eaten anyway. I sat through all this crap waiting for it to get better but it didn't. It got so peaceful and the slime was so perfect and powerful that they had to inject a bunch of spoiled demon princess bullshit in just to make some conflict. And that's being generous, since she considers the protag her bestest friend she would do anything for and the only people who can face her can't/don't want to.
