That's true, but I don't know what they use for that part. Mirai Akari's MMD download is on the project website, so it obviously gets some use. The final animation with mocap is probably tweaked due to the anime hair almost never clipping in the better youtubers' videos. Akari has a Renai Circulation video that doesn't appear to use mocap and is noticably less high quality, so maybe there's some hacky way they're doing it like wearing a wig when doing the mocap. I just don't know.

The creator does upload slowly, may be because it takes a while to animate that stuff and they have a small team, but also helps to that mysterious vibe about her, while it's better to leave you wondering what does each video mean and trying to put the pieces together, if there are any.
