As for leaking, it's only a matter of time before companies like patreon implement steganographic watermarking as a standard option. When they do, leaking will all but cease because, without multiple accounts and a bit of computer science knowledge, leakers will find their accounts getting banned very quickly.

There's a Japanese OCR program called KanjiTomo. You just hover over the start of the word and it (sometimes) recognizes it and gives you a dictionary lookup.

I use Jisho a lot but nothing beats (for my own purposes) a nice kanji dictionary. I just identify the character's radical, count the strokes and then find it in the dictionary. I can do it a lot faster than hunting for it online, though if there's furigana I usually just look it up online with romaji

just use the radical section on jisho, If you can't indentify any of the radicals that make up the kanji you need to expand your kanji knowledge anyway.

honestly, the best thing I can recommend to somebody who has spent a decent time on grammar and kanji already is to install visual novel reader and just read through anything that seems like it would have normal difficulty japanese in it (no chuuni or imperial japan stuff yet).

VNs give you context for everything new you encounter anf you're reading through actual conversations instead of horny dirty talk. VNR can display the games dialogue for you in a seperate text box by hooking itself into the text thread. people use it to machine translate, but you'll want to just turn on the automatic furigana function.

I stopped using it before the original developer quit, but the re-release should work the same.

I don't know what turned hentai into the go-to for people learning japanese, but it's horrible. you'll either be faced with dialogue you don't understand because you have no context for any of the words outside of a dictionary definition, or dialogue that's so simple you gain nothing from it.
